Last week there was a lot of conversation in class about wearable technology. Upon my usual hourly scroll through twitter something caught my eye that had everything to do with what we talked about last week in class.

Waverly Labs has created a wearable called The Pilot.

Waverly Labs is an innovative consumer electronics company created in 2014.

Waverly Labs is developing a smart earpiece at the convergence of wearable technology and speech translation called Pilot.

The Pilot is the world’s first smart earpiece which translates between users speaking different languages.

The Pilot is an earpiece that, when worn, can automatically translate languages with the assistance of an app for your phone.

This new advancement makes traveling abroad a breeze. No longer do people have to struggle to try and understand the language of a foreign country. These ear pieces are a perfect example of how the world is advancing and adapting to the way society functions.

Many people are traveling more now than they have in the past. The concern of being able to understand the citizens of a country that one is traveling to is a high one. Waverly Labs realized this and decided to take action. Thus, The Pilot is being created. The Pilot is already available for ordering on the Waverly Labs website in black, white and red.
